Robert Zaegel founded Contract Confidential in 2010 to assist government agencies recover overpayments and generate additional funds that can supplement challenging budgets. He has over 14 years of experience in auditing, corporate finance, and government contracting.
Guided by the principle of providing real and measurable value, Contract Confidential does not charge a fee until cash from overpayments is recovered or future costs are decreased.
Prior to starting Contract Confidential, Robert managed the financial operations of the government services unit of Fidelity Information Services (FIS). Previously, he was the CFO of Southeast Community Capital (now Pathway Lending) and worked in Washington, D.C. as a Senior Auditor for Ernst & Young and a Senior Accountant for The Carlyle Group.
Robert earned a BBA in Accounting from Southern Methodist University in 1997 and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Vanderbilt University in 2004.
